How much is one page?
One translation page is 1800 characters, including spaces. This is a typical conversion used by the majority of translation agencies. Some agencies however use pages of 1600 or 1500 characters and charge the same. Make sure you know, what you pay for.
For officially certified translation one page is 1125 characters including spaces. This is a statutory regulation subject to s8(1) of the Regulation of the Minister of Justice on remuneration for duties of officially sworn translators.
Why is one translation page not simply one page? This is because a page written with font size 5 will contain more text than a page written with font size 14. Therefore a standard conversion is required.
